WHAT DOES PARTICIPATION MEAN TO YOU?
A unique opportunity
The entry fee for one cheese item in the competition is £52. However, this year the organizers of the WCA (World Cheese Awards) offered 50 Ukrainian cheesemakers to enter as participants without a contribution.
Easiness
You only need to prepare the necessary technical documents and select the cheese for presentation and tasting. We take care of the rest.

People trust authority, and the World Cheese Awards is one of the most famous and largest cheese competitions in the world. Cheesemakers who are constantly improving their own products get there. If you pass the expert selection and become one of the 50 participants, this is already an opportunity to earn an advantage over other cheeses in the eyes of future customers.
A chance to get high-level expert confirmation
In 2021, cheesemakers presented more than 4,000 cheeses at the WCA. Bronze, silver and gold medals were awarded by the best judges from around the world. Such awards can be placed on cheese packages and demonstrate its recognition by top experts.

In 2021, the competition was visited by 10,000 consumers, including chain buyers looking for new products for their cheese spaces. In addition, professional judges from different countries discover new cheeses during the event and talk about them to their audience of cheese lovers.
Promotion of your brand in Ukraine and abroad
ProCheese will cover the competition in Ukrainian multi-disciplinary media and specialized business media. Also, your cheese will be included in the brochure “Cheese Guide to Ukraine” in electronic and printed formats, which will be distributed at international events.
YOU CAN ENTER THE TOP 50 IF:
1.you have the necessary documentation that confirms the quality of the products, namely:
- Expert opinion
- Production certification according to the ISSO 2200 / Halal safety system
- Manufacturer’s declaration
- Production permit
2. fill out the form with a description of your cheese and provide its photo You can submit more than 1 cheese. You can send one form with a description of several cheeses, or several forms for each cheese separately.

How do we help in the competition?
- We conduct expert selection
The professional who chooses the best Ukrainian cheese for participation is Oksana Chernova, one of the WCA judges, who has been on the jury for the 5th year.
- We take on the difficulties and organization of transportation
Transportation is free. We collect cheeses in our own warehouse in Ukraine, take them to Slovakia to the second distribution center and export them to Newport – the city where the WCA will be held.
